From harvest, to handcrafted heirloom.

01 / Harvest

Surrounding our factory in Madagascar there are Raffia Palms ready for harvest. The skilled female artisans who work there use sharp cutter blades to carefully extract the fibers from the fronds of the raffia trees. A plume from the native Madagascar palm trees weaves a narrative of durability, lightness, and versatility crafted by human hands – becoming the straw material in some of our most coveted classics. Renowned for its strength and sturdiness, Raffia is a manifestation of individually harvested frond leaf fibers.

02 / Handcraft

The skilled female artisans who work at the factories use sharp cutter blades to carefully extract the fibers from the fronds of the raffia trees. The fibers are submerged in hot water washing and sun drying to create the beautiful natural raffia color. They are then carefully hand-crocheted and assembled into our beloved bucket, wide brim, and fedora hats.

03 / Heirloom

Each piece is a testament to the human touch, reflecting a tradition of craftsmanship passed down through generations. Renowned for their strength, these silhouettes are not just accessories but investments in timeless style. They are designed to enhance your everyday experiences and accompany you through all the days to come.
