This packable, two-toned beret is made from a straw harvested from the frond leaf in Madagascar, hand crocheted by skilled artisans into a light, durable fiber. Its malleable, compact build makes it ideal for stowing away with you on any journey. Fay fits snugly on the head for a structural yet comfortable feel.

Material

Raffia is known for its strength and durability. The lightweight and strength of these fibers make it an excellent material for hats, allowing them to travel with you wherever you go whether in a suitcase, a purse, or a beach bag. Raffia fibers are sourced from the raffia palm. The individual fibers are harvested from the frond leaf and are dried and crocheted into hats.

HOW TO MEASURE

1/ Find a string or cloth measuring tape.

2/ Start at the center of your forehead an inch above your eyebrows. Gently wrap the string or cloth tape around your head, to the most prominent point in the back of your head. Meet at the starting location in the center of your forehead.

3/ Mark the joining point. If you are using a string, measure the start and end points in centimeters for the most accurate measurements. We recommend measuring three times for accuracy.

We offer complimentary shipping on all orders over $50 within the United States. For orders under $50, there is a flat shipping fee of $10. We also provide expedited shipping options at checkout.

Orders placed Mon-Fri before noon EST will be shipped out same day (excluding US holidays) from Maryland. Our delivery window is 1-5 business days depending on your location.

For international orders, we use DHL and APC couriers for a flat fee. Shipping to Canada, Australia, and New Zealand is $25, while shipping to other countries is $40.
